David Stern was trained in London, England by expert European jewelry craftsmen. After a five-year apprenticeship, learning how to make fine jewelry in the traditional fashion developed over many centuries, he established his own business in 1970.

Within five years of hard work and determination to make his mark, he opened three retail jewelry stores in London. One was located in Hatton Garden, the British version of New York City's 47th Street, which is the center of the jewelry manufacturing and diamond trade here in the U.S., and two others in central London. As a nationally known jewelry designer, he also built a thriving manufacturing business selling his one-of-a-kind original designs to other retail jewelers throughout the U.K. David Stern also became involved in the appraisal and valuation of antique jewelry.

Looking for an opportunity to become more exposed to new and innovative jewelry ideas, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1976. His first priority was to educate himself in the American way of doing business. To achieve this, David Stern started to buy and sell antique and estate jewelry, traveled the U.S. participating in the estate jewelry show circuit to establish new contacts and to build a reputation for his expertise, and at the same time began developing ideas for a new and exciting collection of original jewelry designs.

Eventually, David Stern decided that Miami was the place to settle, as it was an exciting city with many cultural entities, and most importantly, a population that loved to buy and wear spectacular jewelry. He opened his first U.S. store in downtown Miami in the renowned jewelry marketplace, "The Seybold Building." There he continued to buy and sell estate jewelry and present his new jewelry designs. After two years in Miami, he moved to Delray Beach, about 50 miles north.

Since that time, Stern has sold his original designs throughout the U.S., opened a store in downtown Delray Beach on Atlantic Avenue; in Palm Beach on Worth Ave, and currently has his store in West Boca Raton, Florida located on Powerline Road

David Stern spends all of his time in the West Boca store where he creates custom designs, repairs and redesigns jewelry, and buys and sells an amazing array of fine jewelry for every budget. The west Boca location is also an official jewelry replacement store  for many of the largest insurance companies including State Farm, Jeweler's Mutual, Nationwide, All-State, and others. His expertise ensures that any claim is satisfied in a timely manner with the best possible results to satisfy the insured as well as the insurance company.

David Stern also works closely with estate, probate, wills and trust attorneys to provide appraisals and consultations on any jewelry related issues.
